The Flighthouse Department is currently looking for an Associate, HR Administrator to support our Human Resources department. This role will act as the first point of contact for HR-related queries from employees and external partners. Note that the person in this role should be able to juggle various administrative tasks in a timely manner. This role reports to Flighthouse’s Managing Director.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 1+ years of experience in HR
  • Understanding of HR procedures, such as onboarding new hires and maintaining employee records
  • Fluency, or willingness to learn, ADP
  • Ability to meet deadlines and juggle multiple tasks at once
  • Strong communication skills - both verbal and written
  • High attention to detail and organization

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Review, draft, update and post employee job descriptions when applicable.
  • Facilitate job applicant intake process; pre-screen, coordinate interviews
  • Schedule and manage the process of new hire onboarding, including but not limited to, scheduling, discussing all related paperwork with the candidate, and ensuring candidate info is properly input into the ADP payroll system.
  • Coordinate and communicate to new hires regarding new hire orientation dates, coordinates presenters for new hire orientation, and share new hire list with appropriate stakeholders
  • Assist with creating and maintaining employee personnel files for all employees.
  • Update data system for employee changes-full/part time status, benefits eligibility, salary changes, etc.
  • Review employee timecards for completion; help resolve any issues with time keeping and compliance in regards to timecard completion and wage and hour regulations
  • Manage insurance benefit eligibility, sharing of plan information with staff and related enrollments
  • Act as a reference for employees; provide information, guidance and direction on HR programs, processes, and procedures (i.e. payroll questions, benefits, PTO, and any other inquiries)
  • Document employee actions, such as hires, promotions, transfers, and terminations
